Dax is the 5th great-grandchild.

We got them all to pose for a quick picture. Its tough to get five kids under five in one picture looking at the camera.











Cousin Skylar climbed up in this chair and kissed Dax spontaneously.

Then Dax went back and gave her a kiss. (Okay, we told him to do this because we missed the first one and it was a cute photo op.)

Happy 75th Great-Grandma

Our Trip - Getting to Ohio

My Grandmother turned 75 on St. Patricks Day. We traveled to Ohio for the party.

This is Dax in the airport (in paper diapers b/c I just didn't think it was reasonable to do cloth there - he was red today when we got home.) Dax loves to push things. So he entertained himself for a while by pushing the stroller while we waited for our delayed flight.

Dallas Luv actually has a small play area for the kids sponsored by Coca Cola. Not a great play area, but sufficient to tide the kids over. Of course Dax is climbing.


Dax's first airplane ride. This is just before take off. Dax was a trooper through it all. We had a stop and a layover which means 6 ear popping ups and downs. He did great though. Lots of nursing. He wasn't too bothered by it at all. Unfortunately it wasn't so easy for Daddy as he had an ear infection of some kind.


We got on grandpa's flight in Chicago which gave Matt and I a little rest. This is a picture on the bus to the car rentals. Dax's first bus trip.

A 2 hour car ride and we were there. We left for the airport at 8am and arrived at Dax's Great-Grandma/Grandpa's at almost 7pm. This could have been faster with a direct flight of course, but we are cheap and our baby survived it all.
